Renaturing Katikati

Join a caring bunch of locals for this monthly 2 hour working bee along Yeoman walkway in the Riverlea Drive/Levley Lane area. Tasks range from weeding to help native plants establish along the estuary margins to planting new grasses, shrubs and trees.  Tools and high viz are provided, and we ask you to wear sturdy footwear and gloves.  Always a good idea to bring a hat if it’s sunny and a full bottle of water.

All are welcome to join in the social morning tea afterwards, featuring a hot cuppa and home baking, often generously hosted in a nearby home.
