Join us and be part of the big picture to improve our resilience, productivity & wellbeing.

Volunteer

‘Renaturing Katikati’ organises weekly, monthly and seasonal restoration and protection work in and around our shared urban spaces. You can also get ‘on farm’ with larger scale annual planting projects on private land. There are hills to harbour citizen science activities involving everything from vegetation surveys and birds counts to water quality monitoring.

Catchment Care

Fancy getting a bunch of neighbours together to collectively control pests? Brave enough to champion native habitat restoration in your catchment?  We work alongside the BOP Regional Council to foster and support Care Groups, collaborations of volunteers working together for a common environmental goal in their own backyard.

Landowners

Is your land your livelihood?  Keen to embrace practices that minimise and mitigate the impact of your activities on water quality and soil health? Let us help you put plans in place that meet your obligations and improve environmental outcomes for a sustainable AND productive future. We’ve got success stories we can share with you.

Donate

To ensure a continuous income stream in the future, we’ve set up a Community Group Fund with Acorn Foundation into which our supporters can directly contribute.

Every little bit helps us make real progress towards cleaner water and restored biodiversity in Tauranga Harbour’s northern catchments. To donate now, click here.
